Mr. Swizzle
Ring-master and founder of The Monster Circus
Mr. Swizzle likes nothing better than a good, hearty laugh. So, when he awoke one morning and discovered he had lost his laughter, he promptly decided to travel the world over, in search of it. In the course of his many harrowing and exciting adventures, he came upon peculiar animals and loveable monsters that made him, chuckle, snicker, chortle, and finally, laugh out loud. Mr. Swizzle was so happy to have his laughter back he formed The Monster Circus with his favorite monster friends. He now laughs every day, loud and cheerful, as he brings humor to the world.
Octolion
Part octopus, part lion and 100 percent fun! Among her many skills, Octolion excels at blowing multi-colored musical bubbles, a real treat that puts a smile on even the grouchiest of faces. Originally admired as a celebrity by throngs of Antarctica’s educated penguins, Octolion joined The Monster Circus hoping she could reach a wider audience...and one that could do more than just clap their flappers.
Unicorn Boy
Ever wonder what’s at the end of the rainbow? It’s Unicorn Boy! No joking. By spinning on his horn, Unicorn Boy can create beautiful rainbows that reach across the whole horizon. But that’s not all he can spin – he’s also a world class break dancer and a party-hearty DJ. When it comes to spinning, Unicorn Boy is number one!
Mellophant
He might be slow, but don’t mistake that for a lack of smarts. This dude is the hippest, near-sighted-ten-eyed-elephant around. Sure, he likes to take things nice and slow, but what four ton creature wouldn’t? Along with happily chauffeuring the other circus members on his back, this mellow-fellow can shoot glitter, stars, sparkles and even candy from his trunk. And best of all, he still gets more miles to the gallon than a Hummer.
Scurvs
Even as a child, Scurvs knew he was different - - that can happen when your head is always popping off. Shunned by his peers, Scurvs had resigned himself to a life of loneliness, perfecting his one true love, juggling. But everything changed for the better when Mr. Swizzle invited Scurvs to join The Monster Circus. Now, as a featured clown in the Monster Circus, Scurvs is loved by all, and considered one of the best – if not the most unusual – juggler in the world. Heads off...oops, I mean, hats off to Scurvs.
Ted
Ted has a secret which he likes to keeps under wraps...mummy wraps that is. Ted isn’t really a monster; he’s a Hollywood action star, whose last film bombed. He swore he’d never appear under the spotlight again. But when he caught a glimpse of The Monster Circus, he couldn’t resist... show business is in his blood. Ted wrapped his face mummy style, so the critics wouldn’t know who he was. But Ted doesn’t have to worry about bad reviews anymore. As a member of The Monster Circus, Ted is one hundred percent superstar.
Squimmer
With his chain saw teeth and cast iron stomach, Squimmer was born to be part of The Monster Circus. Renowned as “King of the Worms,” Squimmer can stretch his slimy, rubbery arms the length of a football field. But more impressive than that, Squimmer has the ability to chomp thru almost anything: bricks; sticks; stones and bones. You’ll love watching him feast on a snack of nuts and bolts and rivets. But a word of warning – don’t let him near your Thanksgiving Turkey!
Blip
If ever there was a modern day Chaplin, it’s Blip. Originally a street magician from New York City, Blip may not be the brightest bulb in the pack, but he’s certainly one of the most entertaining. Blip can do magic tricks right out of his head... for real! But whoops ... they usually end up all wrong. Like when he tries to pull a cute, hopping bunny from his head and it turns out to be rude, cackling rooster. But fear not, Blip’s high jinks are guaranteed to leave you cackling with laughter.
Web Monkey
Don’t be fooled by her small size, Web Monkey will put a big smile on your face. This sassy little monkey-spider can spin a web as wide as the Grand Canyon, as well as darn a hole in your favorite pair of clown pants. Her favorite pastime is spinning her special banana webs and swinging from trees. She also takes great pride in her ability to do acrobatics while balancing on a web-spun tightrope. This little girl swings!
Lankadoo
Talk about attitude and you’re talking about Lankadoo. Trained as a top chef, this lanky clown has a temper that can scramble anyone’s eggs. When he’s not cooking for the other performers, Lankadoo has his own entertaining entree – he can bend and shape his body into a million hilarious shapes and positions. Whether he’s stirring up excitement under the big top, or serving up a feast over the stove top, Lankadoo gets four stars.
